Upper image - CT thorax (lung windows) at level of aortic arch
- The large cavity appears similar on CT as on the X-ray image
- The cavity appears to deviate the contour of the major/oblique fissure of the right lung (red line - also shown on left)
Lower image - CT abdomen at level of liver (purple line)
- Multiple areas of low density seen scattered throughout the liver have the typical appearance of metastatic deposits
- These metastases could be biopsied under imaging guidance
